Hotel Villa Paraiso - Santo Domingo

We booked a family room hoping for a nice view, but instead were placed in a room with a dull sight of the main road. It was disheartening to see that when we complained, nothing was done to remedy the situation. On top of that, the room had flooding issues from the rain.

Loved Santo Domingo, the hotel was nice little and beautiful right on the beach. The property was in a marvellous and lovely location right by San Juan del Sur, and other restaurants in the surrounding. No reason to complain, the venue met needs well, would recomand it.

Nothing to dislike.

I wanted a room with a view, but ended up staring at the main road instead. Unfathomable that a place with such charm would allow my room to flood from the rain! After all this, i would've thought an upgrade or even a simple apology woudl ve been appropriate, but alas, no. What a disappointment.

The restaurant was great with great food, I tried simple dishes. The bed seemed large and it was fairly clean all around...

The staff seemed overwhelmed and lacked information on local attractions, making our exploration challenging.

The family-friendly atmosphere was a major plus for us, especially with two young kids. We loved the beautiful beach access, allowing our little ones to play in the sand. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious.

My kids wished for a better swimming area for little ones.

I had a lovely experience! The lake view from my Triple Room was amazing, perfect for sipping coffee while soaking in the scenery. Dinner at the hotel both nights featured good service, and their Long Island Teas? Simply really good!

This place is good, and has free Wi-Fi in public areas, a 24-hour security service, and an outdoor swimming pool. The staff even helped me print tickets on my first stay, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend getting a massage!

Absolutely loved the beachfront location of Villa Paraiso by Lake Nicaragua. The triple room felt spacious with a lovely setup, perfect for sipping my morning coffee while soaking in the lake view. The outdoor dining area provided a fine setting for dinner, and my meals, including the breakfast crepes, were delicious and fresh. I appreciated the option for laundry services , made things easier. I did face some issues with the WiFi not reaching my room, inconvenient. The transfer from the ferry port was a letdown as they charged $25 each way, which I expected to be complimentary since it was listed among their facilities. I had a relaxing stay, yet the hidden charges and connectivity issues did take away from the experience.

I had the most peaceful stay with a nice beachfront balcony and enjoyed the refreshing pool. However, the food prices felt a bit steep. I'd definitely return!

This place was just an excellent fit for a getaway in Santo Domingo with very good value for money. The hammock outside my room was super comfortable. Be sure to order your drinks early as the bar closes right after dinner.

Loved the outdoor pool and the outdoor dining by the lake. Bugs outside were a hassle.
